Rachel and Allison are North American expats who have been living in London since May 2009 and October 2012 respectively.
Rachel Brown
Rachel is a budding knitwear designer who sells her self-published designs on Ravelry and her knitting blog, Porpoise Knits. She has published in Knit Now and has designs upcoming this summer in other outlets. Rachel also sells hand-dyed spinning fibre in her online shop Porpoise Fur.
Allison Thistlewood
Allison blogs about her knitting adventures at Champagne and Qiviut and is the UK sales representative for SweetGeorgia Yarns, Soak Wash, and ChiaoGoo. She also does freelance marketing and communications work, specialising in digital and social media. Former and current clients include PurlNova, Soak Wash Inc. and Cabinet Office Communications for the Government of Ontario.
